Fox Den Pictures

Found a fox den during marathon training and thought it'd be kind of neat to throw the trail camera over it and see what's in there. Saw a fox in the same spot 3 mornings in a row running. Interestingly they abandoned the den in early June, but I was able to get over 2000 pictures from early May to June 4th. Few rabbits, but no fawns brought in. I threw a turkey carcass from one of my kills in front of the camera and it took them about 8 hours for the kits and adults to drag it into the den. Cool stuff.

It looks like an old foundation but there is an old chunk of chinked metal over the top of some cement blocks. At the end of runs I could whistle and all three would stick their heads out to investigate.
