Right off hwy 260 right under the rim. .5 inches as of noon. More coming. Probably won't open the forest until the regular monsoon flow starts.

Bud was good to us, dropped over an inch of rain. Most of it came down as slow soaking with a few heavy down pours. The trout stream down my driveway never filled up.

Forest still closed (Tonto), The roadside Smokey went from Extreme to High. Road is all ready dry and dusty. Yesterday (Saturday) high for the day was 60. Had to start the stove as the cabin got down to 69. Warming trend and no rain in the immediate future. Monsoon generally starts the first week in July.

It's too early. Born and raised here and it really doesn't get going until after the 4th of July holiday.

This little shot from Bud helped but unfortunately, looking at the long range forecasts, they don't see any uptick in the monsoon for at least the next 14 days.

This was a tease, but it was nice!! :)

3/4 inch of rail in Forest Lakes (south end of 4a & 4b) in early July should help some of the antler growth. Let it rain !!!

My rain gauge in Flagstaff says 4.81” so far for the month of July. Was scouting for the upcoming archery Elk hunt in 5BS yesterday and it has greened up nicely. Had to fight my way through mud and T-storms.

5BS roads are ugly when it rains. I got stuck in the middle of the 93 road a few years back. I had chains with me and needed them to get me out.

Anyone remember what last years rain totals were for July, August & Sept? Last summer was a good wet one and it would be nice to compare.

I was out yesterday after being away for a week and I can't believe how much greener and tall the grasses are. Most water holes I check are at about 1/3 full or less. Some are still dry that I have never seen dry before.

In Lakeside, we are 2" more this July than July 2017 according to R.A.W.S.
