Here is the proposed tag numbers for this year. The final vote will be coming up to set the final numbers. Some of the counties just outside of the CWD areas will see an large increase.

They are going to pass them out like candy at a parade in the CWD zone

They're trying to get private land owners and leases to remove deer. If they want to do that start shooting now. I was talking to a friend who stays engaged with the DNR/NRC. The concern is many private landowners/lease holders are reluctant to shoot alot of deer on their places.

here in western Iron County, just before this really deep heat came this weekend the Hex hatch has been on, and not heavy, so trout fishing at night, with big number 6's dries has been very good..................... 8 to 11pm for me,,,,,, anyway, there are deer all over the place

counted 35 deer, to and from trout fishing, which was about 7pm and coming back after dark.............. they look to be is super shape................
