beautiful! Did they do the spray on velvet for the mount? When I had my CT velvet buck mounted, they preserved the actual velvet, but it does not look as good as the spray on.

Ye Ungie it is the artificial. Taxidermist recommended it for a number of reasons, looks, longevity and the thing that got me was bugs- said even in Freezer he has found parasites etc. Extra $ 275 but was told that KS prices are much better than here in New England. He said artificial has a little more shine to it.

Very nice. When I killed my caribou the velvet was hanging in tatters. Soon as I grabbed an antler it came off in my hand. Hope to get a velvet someday. Good job

Looks great. I like it better w/ the fake. This mount has the real. I love the mount, I just don't think the velvet looks as real as it did when I shot it.

CT a few years back... couldn't believe he still have full velvet. I've shot some small CT deer in velvet, but the big boys were always a week out of velvet by then on cams.

I like the symmetrical rack on yours. My Buck was nicknamed funky junk and droopy because if the crazy rack.
