ksq232, I hunt in Chautauqua county too, and you've heard correctly about a lot of fawns. Seeing lots of twins and even some triplets on our farms. Going to be a LOT of deer running around the woods this season.

Pretty slow for me this year. This is the biggest buck I've seen and the only thing getting bigger on him is a brow tine. The last two years he has been very sneaky but I've seen him already this year in person.

This guy just keeps growing, I don't think there is any way my wife or youngest daughter would pass him. Me? I'm not sure, I'd sure like to see him next year. I'm afraid if our youngest doesn't shoot him in the youth season, he'll disappear anyway; the resident stud buck would make quick work of him when he shows up in October.

Interesting buck on a friend’s place. He’s seeing more mature bucks than ever..but he’s got a lot of ground, unreal habitat and managed hunting pressure.

Last year Addison had this buck at 40 yards during the youth season and couldn’t get an ethical shot off, he turned and walked out of her life. He’s back this year and looks better than ever. He’s avoiding the trail cameras, but we’ve been watching him some out of the barn. Last week I took my brother-in-law to get some pics the night of the big storm. The dark clouds hurt the picture quality some, since he was using such a big lense. I hope Addison can get another crack at him this year.

KSQ- he’ll probably put a kid on that buck. He’s looking for a clean typical, probably 190 net or bigger. If not, he’ll shoot an old “management” deer. He’ll take quite a few people, too.

Boys Ive had 2 buck pics all summer. Buddy near olpe has had about the same. His neighboring landowner is reporting something similar. I hope its just them being in the beans. There isnt a bean field for 3/4 mile from me. This is unusual.
From: ksq232
26-Aug-18
I bet they’re just bacholered up somewhere else right now gobbler. A good buddy has property less than a mile from us. He gets doe pics all summer every year and then all the bucks around us this time of year show up on him come October.
