Does anyone have any info on Moose in these areas. I drew a bull tag after 19 years. I have made one scouting trip already and plan on a few more before October. I’m not very familiar with the area, just looking for a good starting point. Thanks

I know a spot where I consistently see moose daily, some days as many as a dozen.. BUT you drew the tag I put in for, so I'll keep it to myself for now.. good luck to you!

COHOYTHUNTER- Maybe the KARMA of helping a fellow hunter out on his once in a lifetime bull moose hunt may help you draw that same tag before you are pushing daisies.

Thanks for all the PMs. What size bull should I hold out for in this area. I’m thinking minimum 40” but I’m not sure. What’s everyone thoughts. I’m able to hunt the entire season.

Lol, if you want a bull first legal one you see!!! There are moose in just about every drainage! Just need to check which one. The big ones live on private in and amongst the houses and the people think they are pets!

If you see a bull over 40" you probably should think extremely hard about passing him up. Just recollection but I would guess that 65-75% of the bulls taken are less than 37"
