I noticed some milkweed seeds beginning to fly already last week. However, if you don't get a chance to get out and collect some, you could always deploy one of these on your stand:

I’ve got about 3 million milkweed seeds in the yard. Come get all you want

That would work if they had unscented bubbles. I like the milk weed, best thing going as you can see it a long ways. Shawn

Why wouldn't a small plastic bottle of unscented baby powder work, twist the lid open, quick squeeze and puff there it goes.

And you're not spreading milkweed. Whatever happened to spray bottles?

Last year was my first year with a bow. I didn't find out about milkweed until it was too late. This year, I was on top of it, but I'm finding out I don't know everything. In the last week, I was able to pick several pods before they opened and just tossed them on a countertop in my garage. I had no clue that after being picked they would still open on their own and spread their seeds all over the garage. I guess I just assumed I would have to pry/cut them open when I was ready to use them.

Brick LOL!! Yup I have laid them on top of the dryer to help them dry quicker. I always knew they would open on there own but with the heat of the dryer it was real quick. Milk weed here in NY will be another month or so before it is ready to pick. Shawn
