New to the panhandle

Hello all, I am currently in CT and moving to Bay County just north of Panama City. I have been an avid hunter for over 40 years. I have been using the crossbow for the last 5 or so years and after reading and trying to figure out the Florida WMA's rules find that the use of crossbows is not allowed. Being new to the area I plan on visiting many of the gun and sportsman's shops to possibly find more info on hunting private land. I have heard that there are many leased land opportunities and was looking for some help in possibly locating one. Any help or conversation would be appreciated--Thanks Kent

Research what co-ops are in the area and speak with the folks there. They often know some farmer who might allow hunting on their farm....especially for hogs.
