Pick it apart. #1. Wife submitted to a search. Stupid. #2. If the husband had his weapons secured (According to state law), he should not have moved them out of the home.
#3. If #1 did not occur then #2 would not have happened.
This should be investigated, starting with the school. Then the investigating officer. Who said what, leading to the home invasion.

This is New Jersey. They have crazy laws down there. No reason it ever should have gotten to this point based on two 13 yearolds.
