Here is the 2018 DMP availability. I for one am very happy that 9X continues to be low as the deer population is still trying to rebound there. Thank you DEC!!!

Got my 3N like every year, but haven't shot a doe since 2000. I only get it in hopes of the rare chance at an albino or piebald doe.

Usually get one every other year in 4H, but I haven't been able to apply yet. I have a lifetime license and have not gotten it in the mail yet, maybe I will call to find out what the delay is. Usually get it as soon as they go on sale.

Came in today's mail, one son got a DMP as he had 2 preference points, I did not, my other son did not either but will have 2 points for next year. 4H

Got my license yesterday and got a dmp for 3f. Got turned down for 3c.

Just bought my license on-line!! Hate dealing with the yahoos at Dicks or Wally World. I got both a 4B and a 4J. I have not shot a doe in 4B in a lot of years but I have some new property to hunt and I just may shoot a doe off of it. Shawn

To respond to O.P's post I believe in 4J right now any way they should allow guys to shoot as many does as they want. Lots and lots of deer in this bow only area. The last few years the rut has been terrible as bucks do not to do any searching for does so little movement and a long drawn out rut as does are coming in heat over a longer period rather than a short 10 days or so. 4B is different, some areas plenty of deer, others not so much, hunters have to decide for themselves on whether to take a doe or not. The properties I hunt could use a few mature does taken. State still does a lousy job of managing the herd!! Shawn
