Anyone hunt 5B ?

Just curious if anyone is hunting 5B in Dauphin/Lebanon/Lancaster? I hunt in Middletown and Hershey. I also got a DMAP tag for Gifford Pinchot State Park. So far I have been getting tree stands ready, doing some food plotting and checking trail cameras. Just ordered a Mentored Youth tag for my 9 year old daughter and she has been practicing with her crossbow. She is doing well at 20 and 30 yards and understands good shot placement. More excited about this upcoming season than just about any season in the past.

I hunt 5B but not near where you are. I've spent time in Middle Creek and the adjacent SGLs. Mostly I've been scout hunting - I have no favorite locations yet.

Been hunting 5B for 50 years, private lands the past 30+ years. Got tired of buddies showing up in my good public areas and screwing it up.... Hope you and your daughter have a successful season, the Hershey area has some really good buck since the trust controls about 15,000 acres of land but they do wonder outside of their farms!

Food plots are looking great. Got several 2 person ladder stand up and fitted my daughter with her harness. I hope those big bucks don't wander too far off that Hershey Trust land...
