My son and I just got back from camp in Esky working on fall food plots. We had not been there since we finished the summer plots in early June.

We pulled camera cards and we found one card had an interesting assortment of animals on it.

- fox - feral cat - bear - deer - coyote - bobcat - house dogs (trespassing)

This camera is placed over the main trail heading out from the cabin. It is around 50 yards from the cabin. It was mostly placed where it is to catch trespassers. There is a small trail heading off towards the right side.

The bobcat seems like a nice sized one but I know nothing about guessing bobcat size. Anyone got any guesses?

Bobcats of that size are the ones that get mistaken for a mountain lion by city folk when they see one. Nice pics.

I wish my animal diversity was more centered around many different age bucks. Unfortunately, all I ever get on camera until the rut are young bucks. Then we pray a decent one passes through looking for the dang does on the land. I wonder what the heck happens to all these young bucks we see every year that we don't seem to see the next year? I know my land sucks but it does hold plenty of does and fawns and I have a vast array of food choices for them. Perhaps I have too many does? I know that would scare most males away :).
