So, I have done a few google searches and looked for likely sections in the KS Regs, but I haven't been able to find any sections on suburban type hunting regulations like distance from buildings, minimum acreage, and bowhunting within city limits. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I got access to a couple pieces of property in Johnson County and I wanted to make sure I am staying legal. I am going to confirm everything with KDWPT but I wanted to do my research first so I don't waste their time. Thanks.

Best you can do is call Pratt

Landowner permission to shoot near their house I know is needed as well as neighbors if you are going to be hunting real close to other houses. As has been said contact Pratt!! Shawn

I think that many of the towns have "The League of Municipalities" guide lines adopted, that forbids shooting bows in the city limits. Urban deer hunting is new enough in KS. that most have not kept up with regs.

You have a KDWPT office in JoCo, call down and ask to talk with the appropriate game warden. “Don’t want to waste...” may be wasting yours going to a hunting site for legal information.

Writer, that was the plan. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't an "urban hunting section" of the regs that I missed. It's 170 acres of corn, overgrown pasture, and a wooded creek, but there are some subdivisions across the roads.
The odds of a JoCo soccer mom calling the authorities if i drag a deer out to my truck are probable enough that I wanted to introduce myself to the local warden ahead of time.
