Anyone else listening?

Interesting, they are going to discuss IPAWS and they called a closed door, Executive session.

I listened to it this morning. Several interesting topics. The IPAWS issue is Homeland Security so not that interesting anyway.

There was one issue that was brought up with respect to the numbers of cases that require a hearing. A large number of violations every year are trespass. It would be interesting to see how many were related to trespassing on state lands that are typically open in other states for hunting and fishing. If the points were reduced for trespass on state land I would assume that it would significantly reduce the total number of hearings required.

Is that in regards to State Trust Land that is under lease?

Or not. STL across the board. Currently, STL is off limits unless CPW has leased it for access. Very little STL is leased for hunting, but most is hunted by the adjacent/leasesd for other purposes landowners and they consider it their own.

Listening to day 2 now. Some interesting thoughts be proposed, some not so much.
