pigs in the Ozarks

Hello Arkansas hunters I am going to be hunting around Johnson county in the Ozark National forest. We will be deer hunting but I am curious if anyone knows if I will encounter any wild pigs in this area. Traveling from OH and would like to bring some oink back. thanks

Good chance you will see pigs. They are there although not as concentrated in the Ozarks as they are in south Arkansas. I watched a group of about 30 while camped on the white river around Mountain View in June. They will be close to water most of the time.

Can anyone point me in a good direction to find a hog or two? I heard Petit Jean WMA was a potential spot. Any opinions?
