Leftover tag - pick-up option

When I successfully got a leftover muzzleloader tag, I opted to pick up the tag rather than risk less than 30 days to have it mailed. But, I don't think it was explicit as to where I can pick up the tag.... my guess is any DOW office en route to my unit. Can anyone please confirm from experience? Thanks.

I have done the pick up at retailer option, not sure if that is the same option, then you just stop at she licence retailer in the state that's open and they can print it out!

I just bought a bear archery tag and the I went to True Value with a printed copy of my receipt and left the store tag in hand.

any license seller, or CPW office. so any of hundreeds of locations that sell licenses can print for you.
