Oct. 31, Nov. 1, Nov 2,...Without any doubt, I have always had my best luck starting on Halloween and then going forward to about Nov 12 or so. Any three day period during that time is normally productive. I try to get out there when the bucks are out looking and every doe in the woods has a headache. Once the bucks lock on to does who are almost ready to breed deer sightings drop and almost cease,...at least that's the way it is in my neck of the woods.

If I can pick the weather, Oct 25th, Nov. 3rd, Nov. 10th

I like Halloween also. Most are walking their kids around or handing out treats. Fewer people in the woods. The other two days would be the 7th or 8th of November.

For me it would be the first good cold front in Oct. After that, oct 31st and nov 4th.

A island comes to mind with acorns dropping good and WNW winds in September.

2nd would be a bigwoods hunt any day the last few days before the gun opener. Nov the 14th comes to mind.

3 would be the opener of Wi firearm season.

Oct. 31 Nov. 1st and Nov. 5th. I prefer the chasing pre rut over the rut and lock down.

Yes, Halloween & Nov.1st. are my best days. Hopefully I won't need the 3rd day. If I was out West I would pick Sept. 13th. especially if it was a Friday. I have shot 3 P&Y critters on 9-13. A Mule Deer, an Elk & a Bear.

In my fav spot, November 6 is the day they open the cages and let the bucks out. It's uncanny....every year for the last 30! So...I'd go the day before (just in case!) To the day after.

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

I'd pick the last day of October and the first 2 of November. If I was ever that limited in days to hunt, the better question might be what three devices would you pick to kill yourself?

November 5,6,7 but that would be sad to only have 3 days.

Any 3 days the first week of november, also like to be in the woods the first day it snows not just for the hunting but I think its neat to watch the woods turn white while you sit there

Oct 31st seems to be a common theme. Why? In the last 5yrs I have had 3 good bucks on camera in the 31st. Is it just a day we tend to remember more?

Depends on the part of the State. Central = 3 days before and after Halloween. The northern part of the state is generally a week or more later. I need to be retired so I can hit the chase/rut phase in different weeks at different places.

I love November 6th, that's when the circus comes to town!

I would choose November 5, 6 & 7 for whitetails.

This is the last year I'll have to use vacation time to hunt and I'm looking forward to hunting more during the last week of October.

GoJakes , 5 of the 8 biggest Bucks I have seen or harvested were on Nov 3,4,5 th . The 2 largest were on Nov 4th. Including a gagger 200 inch that walked out of the Tamerack right at dark & stood broadside . I could not draw my bow back & the Buck ran off after a Doe .

It was -4 degrees with a 20 mph wind . I was so cold my arms would not function . My memory is not that good but I have 49 years of notes . About 7 lbs worth .
