Awesome dog Bruce. Her name is Scout. And I bet she’s gonna be really good at “going for walks” after you shoot a deer... haha. Planning to hunt waterfowl with her at all?

I appreciate the effort moons, but "scout" didn't pass muster with at least two of the family. I think she's destined to be called "puppy" until she gets bigger, then we'll transition to "dog". Hope not but that's how it's going so far. Thankfully she doesn't care as long as she gets fed.

I'd definitely like to try some bird hunting (upland, waterfowl, both?) with her since she comes from a line of bird-crazy dogs, but I've never trained a dog to anything but the basics (sit, come, heel, etc.). We'll see how it goes. Right now I'm just trying to train her not to eat acorns, bark mulch, rocks, and whatever else happens to be nearby. I totally forgot just how ADHD puppies were...

Just lost our Golden Seamus O'Malley at 10 years old. If my wife saw your pup we would have another I am sure.Beautiful pup!
