Mange in white Tails?

I’ve had a number of bucks on my cameras this summer with patches of hair gone on the withers and rump area. Some obvious thinning of the hair immediately around those areas. Out of 8 or 9 bucks maybe 3 show this condition. Two of these bucks are very chummy and almost always show up together....and I mean right together. So maybe if it’s a mite or whatever...that’s maybe how it spreads. These animals otherwise look healthy. Is anyone else picking up any deer with this kind of condition?

I would bet it is ticks causing it, look at what the the ticks are doing to the moose in New Hampshire. Shawn
