SOB I think you are old enough to be able to get the stamps for free. 70+

Used to be stamps way back when. Now they are just additional tags and licenses to hunt those seasons/weapons.

had to wait at Walmart about 35 minute due to customers at the hunting area, then they were free as I am over 70 years young.

Are the tags free because you're a lifetime license holder or are they free because you're 70 years old

70 years old as long as you have a hunting license. The above post by tompolaris is not correct!! If you are hunting during those seasons you need the licenses(stamps) to be legal!! Shawn

I guess i'm getting license and stamp mixed up. I had the licenses last year. I thought you were talking about additional stamps like duck stamps or in ct pheasant stamps years ago,

Used to be archery, turkey, etc. stamps here in NYS years ago. Since they went to the computerized DECALS system it is only additional tags/licenses

I can remember getting my first bow stamp when I was 14 (1990).
