I have not shot an antelope yet after 3 years of trying spot and stalk. I don't want to sit by water all day, but I may have to. Achilles tendon tendonitis has put a damper on this year. Probably won't be going till October for a try at the wily and ever elusive antelope...

Where in the state are you hunting? I will be hunting lower part of the panhandle around Kimball. I m going October 4th through 7th, hoping to be there when the rut is on.

I can't believe my struggle with the antelope continue. Stalks got me to 20, 30, and 40 yards and yet no shot was taken. Always something happened to blow up the set...bad karma is a possibility??? Throw in a ruined truck tire (ran on the spare most of the hunt) and locking my keys in the pickup ($45 dollars cost to have the lock smith guy open it) and I had a complete weekend. With all that, I had a great time can't wait till next time.
