Proposed changes to Manner and Method..
There's some weird stuff they're proposing. .22, or larger for elk?
PDF in link.. a lot of stuff to read through.

There are some ideas that need public input. This is stupid to have any big game species be able to hunt with a .22 centerfire. You know how many elk are going to be wounded and never recovered because "if it's legal I can use it" mentality.

Raceguy, you know how many people wound elk with larger calibers than that and still these knuckle heads want to make a .22 Cal legal? I'm with you man, horrible idea!

It's bad splitlimb. Talk to the local meat processors and they will tell you how many times an elk has been legally harvested only to find a bunch of .22 bullet wounds while processing.

I know of a processor who found a 7mm bullet where a broad head should have been. Damn poachers.
