New Camo Design-What do you think?

Hi All, Im from Massachusetts and developed a new camo design that my friends and I have been using for the past few years. The designs are all copyrighting and patent. The cuffs can be the same color as the design but it seems like it doesn't bother the animals as we have been very successful. Here's my site, Truelifecamo.com. Hope to get some quality feedback you all. Thanks, Cos
Nice pattern on that top one!
I know you say the deer don't mind but IMHO the cuffs and bottom would look a lot better in camo.
I can tell you that I can see a trail cam on a tree when they use a black belt to attachment them to the tree, so grey or camo would be a better choice for my comfort level. Otherwise I like it.
I don't see it...lol. Ya mute the cuffs other than that an emoji thumbs up
Looks great but I’d need the cuffs and waist band to match the rest of the outfit.
I agree with all of you - the black cuffs and waist band have to go!
The cuffs would show your movement when reaching for your bow or drawing. Just look at the contrast in the photo. The waistband not so much. But looks awesome. I will check out that website for sure. Rick
Morning Guys, I appreciate all your feedback so far! It has been a lot of fun using my own camo while hunting instead of using all that commercialized camo that's out there.
Nice, but keep the black trim, I like it.
Black is slimming and it matches the black hat I normally wear.
Looks good. I really don’t see a problem with the black trim but to each his own. Do you sell this stuff?
Hi- thank you and keep that feedback coming. I do sell them. Check out my website truelifecamo.com and if interested in buying, please let me know with a pm here first just in case I am out of some sizes. I would really love for this to take off and if anyone is interested in backing me or helping me with this, I would love to grow in that way too. I guess realtree and mossy oak had to start somewhere too right? I am definitely having fun with this. Thanks, Cos
What’s the base fabric (synthetic, cotton, blend?) and How do the sizes run, do you offer tall sizes. And what’s the shrink factor after washing? Use the questions we are asking and set up a faq on your website. Nice patterns. My 2 cents on cuffs is go with a complementary color, green, brown... if you want contrast, how about blaze.
I’m guessing the deer have more of a chance seeing a 3 foot tall bow being raised then a 3” cuff besides the cuff will be behind the bow grip anyway.
“It has been a lot of fun using my own camo while hunting instead of using all that commercialized camo that's out there.”
Not to be a wise-guy, but for anybody else, what’s the difference between your “Commercialized Camo” and anybody else’s?
JMO, not enough contrast, and too much potential to Blob. But solids work, too, if you can hold still.
I’d suggest focusing more on fit and functionality than pattern; if you build a better piece, the big design outfits will very happy to sell you their patterns - and they can probably do it at a fraction of what it costs you to get a run printed....
Morning All, thanks again for all your feedback. I will take the feedback and use it to better my designs and website. The fabric is a polyester/cotton blend and the sizes are true to fit. Keep em coming! Thanks!
Very nice patterns. Almost 3D. As others have mentioned, the contrast between the cuffs and the lighter background will magnify any movements though. Any way to lighten them up?
I'm just a camo nerd, for me, the cuff's are two fold... I'd err to a lighter color, gray or brown etc... partly because I just like how that looks better, but also because I think of how a black camera strap for example looks on a tree - very obvious. Do the deer really care? I doubt it. But it would bug me.
My camo nerd self would, for the same reason, not buy new fangled camo with little neon highlights.
Could you make the cuffs and waist camo or just a lighter color? I think my Predator camo hoodie has tan in the same spots, and it just blends into the shirt - looks like part of it. Again, probably no issue for the critters, but for the purchasing hunters, I'd err towards a color that sort of blends into the shirt.
It's amazing how photorealistic the patterns are overall!
I really like both patterns but totally agree with the cuffs color being too visible. Should match rest of the pattern.
How do your big /tall sizes run? When I get a xx or xxx shirt the sleeves are too short and the tail barely makes it but the body is ok..same with the pants, never really long enough..
I'm 6'6" pushing 260..the last time I was fitted for a suit the measurements were something like.. Pants -38×36 shirt- 21" neck 39"sleeve 52" chest..
I'm assuming the sizes would have to be even bigger for movement / mobility..you have anything for the fashionable conscience knuckle dragger ? Could be a niche market for you
Hey Guys, I like all the feedback that I am getting, thanks very much. I was planning on making the cuffs the same color as the design. As for the big/tall sizes, right now I have 2XL and the sleeves maybe run slightly longer than normal. You'r a big dude!! Good idea about the possible niche though!
Looked at your site and I see everything appears to be pullover. Personally I like Zip Up garments. They are easier to get on and off and if it gets warm you can unzip for some air flow. Also, I don't see any pants on your site. If I were to design a set, it would have a nice outer camo shell with a removable fleece liner for later in the season. Oh and Pockets, Pockets and more pockets. button or zip close on some pockets and at least one that passes through to the inside.
fix the cuffs - looks great in all other respects. I have to believe that black cuffs will advertise and expose arm movement
Hey All, I originally wanted the black trim to add some style to the hoodie but the more people I ask, they say the same, make it the same as the design. I am having my manufacturer make those trim changes. Will post the results when I get them. Thanks for all your input. In the meantime, feel free to check out my site. Truelifecamo.com. Thanks!
That's what I'm talking about!! Listening to your customers and accommodating them. You will have an order from me shortly.
