Dove season

Anyone else going to head out tomorrow? I normally try to make it to Hackberry flats wma for the opener but decided to post pone this year to avoid the inevitable crowd that will come with opener being on a Saturday. Going to sit on my buddies 2 acre field planted in soy beans, cowpeas, sorghum, and sunflowers. It was planted for the deer but we've been seeing a lot of dove in the field.

Yup. I'll be going out to brave the public land in the western part of the state. It's just too much fun to stay in bed. The crowds can be scary but just move over a little bit if you hear buckshot whizzing through the air.
