It was a good day for me in zone 8. Got my doe in the AM after a quick stalk while she was bedded in some high grass. Afternoon hunt had the deer moving early by me. Saw 21 deer, including 5 bucks, with 4 of them still in velvet. I was able to connect with the velvet 8 point. Great day. Lots of wind out of the east by me in the AM and steady light rain in the afternoon.

Yea it’s kinda dead here on the jersey site. Hope it picks up. Out again this morning. Had a doe bust me at 30 yds. Breeze is a little squirrely today

not yet got some cams out and a few good ones showing up. Been spending alot more time hunting in illinois over NJ. Got some bear stations going earlier this week so I am looking forward to that. Good luck to all

bear season was non productive for me. Sat a lot but all of my bears went nocturnal on Monday. They are smart animals. Seeing lots of new bucks showing up and some chasing starting to happen.

i have been out 3 times lots of deer but mostly does,my brother and my buddy have both seen mature deer.....things are starting to happen!
