Dark blue flags in state forest?!?

So i have been finding more and more dark blue flags in a state forest im hunting.. along with pink ribbon with dep #s on them. Anyone have any idea what they mean? Logging? Started last year.

blue ribbons in an area being logged usually means the line for them to stopped cutting...Now this is CT so who knows but on paper company where there is logging operation going that is what it means

Blue flags represent the Dems that are being figuratively killed in the upcoming elections. You should be seeing more and more of them as the mid-terms approach! Pink ribbons mark areas where unseen deer were counted during surveys. These facts were given to me by an anonymous source;)
