I Hunted Sunday morning on private land in Fairfield County. A doe was being chased by 3 bucks. 2 of the bucks had a pretty aggressive fight and almost flipped while sparring. I shot the buck who had the biggest body after the sparring ended. Pretty early for this type of activity

In Westchester I’ve found over 50 scrapes and 150 rubs as of a week ago. Bucks on camera all night sparring. Sometimes 3 at a time!

Two weeks ago I had 2 bucks, 5-point and a 4 point on my front yard with 6 does, the 5 point had his nose up her tail, I was really shocked to find them doing this at this time. Of course I won't see them when it counts.

I’m right outside of Albany n I’ve got access to private land as well as doing a lot of public land hunting and I’ve got much bigger bucks on state land than any of the pieces of private
