Reckon I’ll start the annual meatpole

Took the boy for his first ever deer hunting trip with daddy. We sat my urban blind and we were rewarded with a slam dunk 11 yard opportunity on this 3.5 year old doe.

Boy was stoked.

Daddy even more so.

I got a really nice doe this morning, the weather is really turning them loose. Saw a buck an hour earlier. This weather is great. Got the deer with my 47# BW recurve with my wood arrow tipped with 160 grain 3 blade VPA broadhead.

Mark, I do have a Blue Lacy puppy, she is 6 1/2 months old ! I went to Mississippi in late May to get her. She is my baby and constant companion. I never had a dog so smart and she will Track anything you put her on ! Sorry to say it's illegal to track a lost dead deer in WV even on a lead ! Go figure, lol , however she loves getting her Pic taken with my dead deer ! It is legal in Ohio and my Cuz who hunts Ohio and has a LEGAL hunting license shot and tracked this buck with her 2 weeks ago, gotta be careful because the Internet Police might INTERPRET things wrongly, lol If you have FB send me a friend

Biggest buck I’ve killed in West Virginia. Exactly 50 yard shot one of the blades on the Broadhead cut the top of the heart. Hanna informed me that my 8 point was not as big as her 9 point she killed the first weekend of the Ohio season.
