new to hunting

hey guys im new to hunting i stared last year when i did my hunters safety and didnt have any luck i go out to bull creek to hunt for hogs or deer and i was wondering if there was any advice or tips i could pick up about scouting or hunting techniques i should be using i know very little about timing and what to look for i hunt with a few buddies of mine but we are all young and dont have a whole lot of experience my parents arent into hunting so im kinda just teaching myself and listeng to my buddies and their dads but i cant get out into the woods alot because of work and tech school so im hoping to pick up a thing or two so when i get to go i can get to work on trying to get my first kill
