Saw a lot of treerats, but no deer. The damn mosquitoes ate me alive. Too hot for hunting today. With the overcast, the woods seemed dead. I did see a lot of rubs and turkey sign.

There are no acorns on my property this year. I spent 11 hours in 2 stands and saw a bear and a box turtle.

was able to get a doe on a manged hunted hunt in loco county on Friday and then 2 more does on Tuesday in Loudoun county with a x bow. I did get a doe in the early antlerless season with a airbow. I know but I like toys. the thing is deadly accurate but loud. still trying to shoot a compound but from accidents I cant do it and feel confident shooting a deer. been passing on the little guys good luck everybody

I think the first week of this season has convinced me that the second most important piece of gear I pack into the woods is my Thelma-Cell skeeter-treater. No way I could stay still without it. Shuf
