I have never had much luck hunting coyotes - a little bit of success trapping though. I saw 5 coyotes this evening and was thinking about going after them in the morning. I have a foxpro electronic call - any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I've used the fox pro after deer season with some success. Try to pick Ron Millers brain. He is the best with coyotes

Thanks JR - and with the pictures that Ron post on here you can tell he is an expert!

I got one a few years back with a bow. He was running down a trail I was hunting and I mouse squeaked and stopped him. I've called in two within 10 yards with a foxpro. Shot both with rifles. I've call several in with a pup distress. That fawn bleat works pretty good in the fall but more deer come than coyotes.

I never tried it for deer, but they come when I'm coyote hunting. I get deer, hawks, or owls on most stands.

What kind do you use?

Foxpro spitfire. It's hard to use any distress call in the spring without a doe coming in. I've had to run the same doe off 3 times at one stand before.
