10 pt Loco county. 120lbs dressed 3.5 years old taken a manged hunt.

My Dad scored on this 7pt. Hard blood trail after the rain Saturday, little bird dog mix unraveled the track fairly quickly. Proud of both of them!
Congrats to you both! I had a nice 8 walk out in front of me yesterday morning while heading to the stand. Unfortunately, he didn't make an appearance. I took another doe in LOCO last night. Was a beautiful day to be in the woods yesterday.

Congrats to all. I finally got out this weekend in Buckingham County, passed on a 4 pt and the worlds smallest dwarf Doe. No kidding, the Doe looked like it had an adult long snout, but was fawn size. Its back did not even come up to my knee, judging from 15 yards out.

Man, that hard frost Saturday night really had the deer moving Sunday morning. My hunting buddy and I were covered up in small bucks cruising.
I agree sunday morning in Loudoun small bucks were chasing big time. off for a few days and the weather looks good.

Sorry Tony, just been distracted and needed to re-register. Long story short, had issues with my bow and was missing the season trying to work it out. Picked up the crossbow and started putting a few down.

I'm new here and to Virginia. Stationed at Ft. Eustis. Took this buck on the first day of ML season. A nice 40yd chipshot 40 minutes into the hunt. I hope to get some serious time in the stands with my bow next year.

He is a retired Army LtCol, and his last duty was the I.G. at Fort Eustis. I first hunted with him at the Fort, (1999) and he put me on a huge 10 point that was just out of range of my shotgun.
That buck still haunts my dreams. LOL !
The Colonel has probably forgotten more about hunting at Fort Eustis than most will ever know.
