Asking for a little help in 2019

Hey guys, hope everyone had a great hunt this year, I was blessed to harvest a nice Arizona bull. I made a promise to a young man from Boise, that I would fly out next September and spend a week on a pack in elk hunt with him, this will be his first archery elk hunt. About 8 years ago I had a great hunt in unit 48 outside Ketchum, it's my understanding that area is burned now. Looking to get any help I can regarding units 43 & 48 as far as elk numbers, habitat etc. I could care less about big bulls, just trying to put us in an area where he might get an opportunity. The harvest statistics the past two years looked pretty good. Thank you very much.

It will be new growth grass and such by next year. I would go right back where you are familiar and you should be fine.
