Never seen before
Every year usually around the 20th I have good bucks staft showing up. This yr is the worst yr ever for me with coyotes, not a single fawn. Here's a stranger that showed up on October 17th at 11 pm.
I'd give the "stranger" a hall pass this year.
Chase - that pic is amazing! The light, the deer's stance. Every now and then, trail cam's get a pic that looks like a pro took it - that is one. Heck of a buck too!
Ya wish I knew how to turn it. I have a few pics of him, some real good ones in perfect light at 7:30 am. Now just need to figure out how to set up on him. Think I’m gonna pass on the morning hunt to try and zoom in on a spot for Saturday morning
That’s bigger than any pics I’ve captured over the years. True trophy. Go get him.
Wow chase. Holly shit thats a mass buck????
almost diddnt wanna post this guy and jynx myself but who ami kiddin. aame odds as the powerball for arrowing that guy!
Broken arrow, you can't win the Powerball without playing. Go get him. Hes a jackpot for sure. Best of luck.
thanks plh! i couldnt believe i got him on cam during the day even though it wasa while ago. im sitin where he lives right now
Chase wow ! Look at that neck. He's ripe this year go getum ! Brokenarrow he's not too shabby. Cool bucks guys
Brokenarrow - you seem to find tall, lots a points deer too... you and chase must hunt next to SevOne (Kidding Pat :))
Good luck man - that's a completely gorgeous deer! 970 mill or that buck... honestly, your odds are better that you shot him, keep at it!
They are out there ... But you can't shoot the big ones if you're busy with the small ones. Be willing to go big or go bust.
Take your freezer deer from someplace else.
thanks will its pretty cool to see these monsters on camera unfortunatly they are way smarter than me haha. this is another (hard to make out) one i had on cam last year as well but theyve never been seen!
Broken-A, If you're inside their summer feeding zone or only catching them at night during the season ( close to bedding/safety) then It seems reasonable to move down the trail a bit to catch them in daylight. Is that an option? Do you know where the doe groups hang out?
It is amazing how they do that. I had one public land buck in Z9... First pic was day time. I got 1-2 pic's a year for the next 3-4 years of what I'm certain was the same deer. Same spot. Every single one was at night after that first one. I'm 99% sure he was bedding mostly up on an adjacent hill to the public land I was hunting, in nasty laurels with great escape routes. What's interesting, is that not only would I only get pic's at night, every one was a one and done. A few years I got 2-4 pics of him on that one jaunt through... But I'd never get another pic. He was a survival MENSA member. :) Amazing how these big deer just learn that darkness is their friend, and go with it.
Chase he looks remarkably similar to a buck I have on cam from last year. I hope I get a chance at this guy this year...
I have a stand not to far from this cam. Funnel. Always have does and fawns year around on cam but never bucks until the rut. I won't hunt it until I see the bucks move in. Got a spike that is coming through regularly but getting a pic of this guy in the morning is a good sign. It's coming. Got to hold off until Nov now.
Is that a deer on the left or a cow? No neck, just a body that continues into the head...
BTW, this is not from my camera but it is from MA, got it from a buddy. Just figured you all would like the picture.
This was the First time I had ever set a camera out. It was after that season had ended. (10 years ago. ) I had hundreds of incredible pictures in just a week. Some with 5 bucks eating corn, 10 does or more. Wild Acres in N.Attleboro. I don't hunt there anymore so the secret is all yours.
With all these acorns there should be some xxl's around.
Awesome pic Bruce thanks for sharing yea what a brute
Those are some big deer. I just pulled my camera that was close to one stand to see what was going on when I wasn’t there. I harvested a deer from this stand a few weeks back and have been It every fews days or so. I was curious to see if they were on to me. There were deer cruising by every single night at dusk or late night. None of my activity seems to have spooked them.
He's moving in the daylight. Had another fork horn come through the funnel. Getting close...
New to site. Here’s one I got on film
welcome decree ti! thats a hell of a buck to join the sight with, biggest 8 ive seen in a while for sure . Hopefully you find him during daylight
I had him on camera 2 and 3 years ago but last year he was mia. Then he showed back up this year and put on probably 20”s
Finally a better buck. only a 6 pointer
Decree when I looked real quick almost thought we had the same 8
Pi that last one is a great pic. It's as if a pointillist painter wanted to capture the first light rays of the sun on the amazing colors of fall, then figured, "what the hell, Ill put a nice deer in too"... Pretty man.
Just put a happy little deer over here... bob ross
Well said, Will.
That area is amazing. Sunrise and sunset both hit the water ...
Bjst- I remember that dork. Goodness gracious what passes for art to the public is scary.
But not as scary as what passes for ethics.
The one reason I dislike cameras. It shows you what you missed out on. I was going to take Thursday off but did Friday instead. Had a big fat doe Friday morning (8am as well) but went to a different stand. At least I know they are there.
They might be torture sometimes, but knowledge is power. Hes still alive waiting for you.
pi your killin me hahahaha its a known fact that deer know the days of the week.... at least in massachusetts.
These stinkers walk right down the road like they own the place.
It's funny that before first light in the wee hours , I drive 5 miles and walk another 1/2 just to try to kill a deer I don't know. But if I stay home and sleep in, have coffee and open my front window at 8:00 I would be eating local venison in the first week. Twice on Sunday.
Yep, They know the days of the week and somehow know when you got no tags ...
Fog and rain this am, thought to add a dream...

Must be a holiday weekend.
Down the road they go... Again.
Sneaking thru early....
Sneaking thru early....
Not MA nor from 2018....but just pulled this camera out of my CT spot. Believe it or not it's been out since 2016 and the batteries never leaked. Thru a new set in and it powered right back up. I've always had good luck with these wild game innovations cams.
Lol no idea where that 3rd pic just came from. Creepy.
nice hickstick i love when u can see the stand steps in the pics. thats a dead deer during daylight
Family stand

A 180, 190 gross monster at 915am? Need a hunting buddy? Good luck!
Waved to someone's trail cam today around 3 pm. Jokes on you, all we have in this area is red foxes... and wabbits ;)
Spike, 0700 in N.Y.. jm, Holy Big !!!!
Good lord JM - mass, tall... I stay awake at night thinking of deer like that :)
XI, that's how I felt last night. After some dogs (with nice little "dingy bells" on the collars came by - at least .5 miles from a house) walked by, and knowing I'd had to trim a bit... I was thinking long term, it's a hemlock in the right spot and I hunt this area with a climber, so I trimmed enough to get up and snuggle in like 10 feet up - with other trees around it, it's like a 10 foot high box blind :) Well, with all that I figured heck with this, Ill get down a hair early and see if there are any deer in the field.
The field is unhuntable, you cant get 500ft clear anywhere near it regrettably. Sure enough, in the faded light I can see a few deer bodies out there. I pull over for a second, use the binos to brighten things up a little and there were 8-9 deer in the field. Fun to see, but unhuntable so best of luck to the deer for a long life and happy winter!
First post, been reading on here for a year or two now. Got this guy on cam in z11
Moons please tell me your not into Upton now?
TC Wow!!! Good luck getting him
not a trail cam pic but this is the biggest deer I've ever seen in person. bedded with a doe in a marsh 150 feet from a house on a day with 40mpg wind gusts. no manner of rattling/calling would get him to leave that marsh.
How did that dude get in my photos? That’s not me
Noob what is in the second photo
Moons it's a ghost! See the orbs!
The second photo is a dog you can see it on a computer. 7 minutes after that doe looked into the cam the dog went running through. Third photo was a small buck....some dude ended up there I’ve never seen the photo
2nd photo looks like a finger print.
That would be a trophy for me this year! 5” of pure beauty.
They’re coming out eastern mass
Corn fattened !
Corn fattened !
So my son asked me to leave a short row of corn in the field so he could hide a camera. I said to myself this is a waste of time. WRONG !
Xi that bear is a MONSTER!!!
I'm still haunted by the daytime movement of this stud from a couple years ago.
thems some nice bucks,,,,
Looks like someone is excited. Maybe he sees moons...
Haha that is great! I almost forgot this perfect pair...
Bmurphyjr, I would name that buck on the right Rick James. Funky
Son of the Seven? Well, I have not been able to hunt locally for almost 3 weeks. My last sit I used some Interdigital scent on a mock scrape I started the first week of Oct and used Preorbital scent on the licking branch. Bammo! I pulled card yesterday and from that day on it's been a party both bucks and does and all daylight 7:30 a.m. to 5:45 pm the last week. Of course, because I have not been in hunting it to screw it up lol. I believe this guy could be the son of a huge bodied old 7 point I took in 2016 in same spot. He's no giant but I finally have a couple on cam for this week.
Heart Breaker !
Heart Breaker !
Backyard deer. Off limits around here because the wife and kids like to look at the pics
Holy crap Apache !! That is huge !!
Haha here’s a funny one of my buddy hauling out my deer
Berkshire bruiser. 1st picture above was last year, at end of season. He’s even bigger this year. This is the one and only pic of him this year. He’s a true Massachusetts Giant
Wow that’s a monster! Hed be keeping me up all night thinking about finding him!
How Bout them Big Berkshire Bucks! Go get em Apache!
Here's one I have a shed from.
Here's one I have a shed from.
here is a spike I had come by if you look out and in the tree I am in my stand and the trail cam was taking photos
Another new one, only deer on 6 cans. Usually by now I'm totally deerless.
Apparently I spooked one while dragging out my buck. Lol...you can see my flashlight over on The right side of the pic and a doe on the left side
Here two, the back one has been messing with me for a few years and the closest one is new this year
