Took this buck yesterday evening. He was working a scrape along a tree line next to a bean field. Walked by at 7 yards and I let my Bear Razorhead tipped cedar arrow fly from my Vintage Works recurve. He piled up in the bean field about 100 yards away.

The buck I shot on 11/7 at 3:25pm. He was out cruising And I caught him a quarter of the way up a side ridge. Slight quartering to, double lung, center punched the heart. He went 40 yards.

Nice deer fellas! I killed this doe on October 30, in Zaleski State Forest. Not the best photo but, the way I "found" her. 25 yard shot, she took a couple of bounds, stood still trying to figure what had just happened and tipped over. I hunted Zaleski for a week and then Williams county last week with my bride. I saw deer on most sits down south just no mature bucks. Wifey had a couple of opportunities last week but passed a two smaller bucks and I never had a deer in range. We never saw any type of rutting activity the entire week.
