This is somewhat belated, as I just saw this in the Lockheed Martin retiree newsletter, but a truly wonderful person, and accomplished Colorado bowhunter, Merriam Trube, passed in August 2018. This may be old news to some, but having just found out, I have a memory in 1994, when I first moved to Colorado, he was at the Lockheed archery range, and took the time to help me set up my first recurve bow. He continued to mentor me in my shooting until I became somewhat proficient. He also invited me to "tag along" with him and friends in their elk camp. Even though I didn't hunt, (didn't make my 6 months residency, and didn't want to pay non resident tag) it was a memorable time. We spent the night east of Tabernash in the middle of marauding, bugling elk.

I believe he also co-wrote a book on how to hunt elk in Colorado with Tom Nelson???

I'll miss him.
