Hi guys and gals, hope everyone has had great success and fun the bow season. I'm needing a little help. I'm helping out a mobility impaired hunter next weekend for deer. He killed a nice bull in 16B this year. My wife also got a nice bull in 16D. Problem is I haven't seen a single deer. I was hoping to hunt the 16E area close to Luera. He has a hard time camping and will be driving him from Belen everyday. Not looking for any honey holes or monsters. I know there's quite a few in the glenwood area and southern part of the 16's, any help would be greatly appreciated. Wife and I have bow in 37 in Jan. I don't think it will ever get here.

My guess is that he hunted the corridor area on the east side of the unit, but it is just a guess.

Split, it was 16A, sorry about that, been in too many units last month. He shot close to the landing strip. We camped Fri night and he got up wanting to know if after the days hunt we could just go home and drive back and forth? He's deaf and has had two hip replacements, anything out of the norm for him is rough. He shot his bull Sat. afternoon and after getting everything situated and loaded we drove home that night. His hearing aids got wet, the bed was uncomfortable, it was too cold. Im just doing him a favor and helping him out, and reintroduce him to the outdoors. I figure if he sleeps at my house the night before and drive him out it would be more enjoyable for him.
