Do you think this is a old buck on its way down? I apologize for the pick but it’s a still off of video.

The body is quite large for 1.5 buck and face looks quite old.

Definitely not an old deer declining. I don't think it's a 1.5 either but it's hard to tell from the pic.

I have to agree with skookumjt, I would say 1.5 or 2.5 younger face and straight back.

I am thinking it is a 1.5 yo. I zoomed in and took a look at the photo. It is a double exposure with the buck moving slightly. That makes the body look larger than it is. Look closely at the nose, chest, and antlers and you will see two exposures.

1.5 nose does not look super long really.

I think it's a horrible picture....

1.5 and maybe 2.5. Chest is not developed and has neither back or belly sway. No chance he’s on his way down.

He does look like he is a bit fatigued from his first or second year of rut.

To me he looks like he has a short face, usually a sign of a younger buck. Straight back and not a particularly deep chest. I'd guess 1-1/2.

It's a whitetail. And a bad picture.

Sorry...you asked... :-)

The rack tells me 1.5 but his body is throwing me off. It's huge for that year class of buck. If he survives a couple years he could be a real stud.
