North Texas deer rut

hey guys, just wondering when you guys usually see the deer rut start heating up in north texas? more specifically the area around Vernon, Iowa Park, and Wichita Falls.

I hunt north of Wichita Falls on the Oklahoma side of the river. I hunted morning and afternoon for 3 days last weekend. My guess last weekend was, we were 7-10 days away.

perfect, i will be north of Electra, and also north-west of Iowa Park near the river. im heading out next weekend for about 5 days.

Im leaving Thursday, we will be hunting Friday-Tuesday. Heard the bucks are starting to move and the action is really getting good. hope it stays cold, looks like timing wise we should hit the rut pretty good!!
