When you pic the wrong stand 2 days in a row, and you're cams let you know. Before I left for Ky for a 3 day weekend. I was going nuts trying to find the buck rubbing these huge cedars. So, I pushed in closer to the rubs, and didn't sit my other 2 stands. Checked my cams today when I got in, and I'm now on suicide watch.

It's bitter sweet, but at least you know he's there. I played cat and mouse before, but eventually he will come by you...

Last night I saw this great spot I’ve wanted to set up on but chose a spot I’ve seen does at before. The does came out 50 yards away from me right at the first spot. They were running -I thought a buck was chasing but they were just freaked out by the shots from the gun range I was hunting on. The whole police force was there. I bleated they weren’t having that. They took off.

Murph, that's a tough one. I feel for you. But at least he's moving in your area during shooting light.

Funny, I get good trail cam pix of deer 200 yards behind our club range. On video you can sometimes hear the gunfire but the deer ignore it.

I'm convinced trail cam's are harder to hang and get images than it is to hunt... So, congrats - because that's a nice buck!
