Rate the season 1-10

Reading all the posts sounds like it has been a bit of a soft season, on a scale of 1 - 10 how would you rate this years season? For me personally I would say it is a 3 or 4, saw a couple, but no success.

I guess it would depend on how one would view their experience..I saw plenty of deer , 3 swings 3 misses, plus others with no shot..opened up a cool new world for new girl bringing along....maybe an 8..so far

10++ ... it is not the quantity but the quality. It is the grain of gold in a mountain of ash that you need to look for.

Every season is a 10.

Ha! Try to believe this....but I killed the only deer I have seen from any of my tree stands. So it’s a 10 for kills. But CT is a downhill slide each year in all my state land areas.

Has to be a 10 even though I haven’t drawn on a deer yet. Just getting into the woods makes it a 10!

10+. Not because I was lucky enough to harvest a nice buck, but because I just love being out there.

10 Done early this year

3 lol only made it out for 3 sit's both high wind days . 1st one seen a spike at 50 yards get up from his bed then walk off and ignore my calls probably couldn't hear them . The other 2 sits a morning and evening one day 1st Sunday in November and not a deer in site and a few squirrels in the morning but not even a single critter in the evening. Hope to find some time this month between kids and wife working a new job finding time has been tough. Good luck to everyone getting out and congrats to all that have been enjoying the season and especially those who have been posting the kills . Season is winding down for most but plenty of deer left to see and harvest for those who find the time and have the patience to get a little cold.

3 rain just sucks.

Always a 10. Not that I plan on going anywhere anytime soon, but I bet most of us will never know when we are out in the woods for the last time.

6 Not the best hunting season. But at least it made me think about why I hunt. Too much emphasis on shooting a deer and not the quality of the hunt. Maybe Big Buck Bob is right.

Always a ten! Just being able to go is a 10 for me and it seems like somehow always put a little meat in the freezer

10 always it’s hunting season

I'm with Grizz, every season is a 10. Its hunting, not killing. Being free, healthy and able to fulfill the sport of archery is enough for me to be grateful & thankful. Any deer taken is a bonus.

I say 9 because I have seen a lot more deer this year then the last 3 haven’t got one yet ... yet their is still time hunt on .

I'm going with 8.5! Definitely better then last season.

9.5 here....my daughter shot her first two deer this year. spike and 9 pt. My hunting buddy got his first two bucks after 19 yrs and I had the honor to be with him for that....That my friends, made my season one of my best ever. Even without myself getting one yet. But the season is still young yet....lol...
