Afternoon,
I was left a compound bow in the past year and would like to get use out of it since it was from an important person in my life. However I do not know anything about the bow. I’ve looked for markings but found none. I feel like it might be missing parts?
Any help is appreciated.
Ps: I know nothing

Comparing it to pictures of a bear black tail that’s what it looks like. Thank you much!

Typical bow of the late 70s I'd say, maybe early 80s.

Quite honestly, I would hang it on the wall in a prominent place of honor to remember that person. If you have to shoot it first you can put an inexpensive rubber stick-on flipper rest and nock point on it, borrow a couple arrows and let them fly. A bow shop with indoor range could help you. You could easily spend over $100 to $200 on other accessories, not counting arrows, and it will never be much faster than an average stickbow. If you stopped at my house in Eagleville 16 years ago I could take care of you for free but now I live 300 miles away. It will kill tho.
