I got in late talking to the property owner.he was a chatty Cathy..lol...1 fat doe eating a pine tree where I park...walking in through a low picker patch there's 6 doe feeding under my stand.had to kneel down and wait..now I have a doe and 2 fawns bedded 20yrds behind me..Sun's in my eyes no shot my bow hand is numb from holding the bow

Good luck NM I’m gonna try and head out this afternoon since I had to go work this morning but if I get out early enough I’m grabbing muzzleloader and heading out or my bow not sure yet lol my kids want more snack sticks and jerky

Just got done from my morning hunt, another eventful time. Fresh coating of light snow, light breeze (until 8:15) and got to my stand at 5:45. Started with a fat doe walking from my 12 position, to my 6 and back to the 3 after about 1 hour and 15 minutes or watching her feed about 30 yards from my tree at one point. She left the scene.
Then all hell broke loose around 8:45. I here leaves crashing and I see a big doe running my way , then another and another. They came from my 9, went to my 6, back to 9, back to 6 then circled my tree twice and finally stood still looking back where they came from. They start to slowly walk away when I see a spike buck coming in their tracks, they spot him and the chase is on again and they disappear to my 11.
The Rut is still on guys, at least for those doe and spike. A good day in the woods.

Going back to the truck to rummage for the remnants of the bacon egg n cheese and hand full of Skittles from breakfast...I should be back later.....GL to all out!!! Dress warm!!!

Just got home eating beef stew nice and warm bud if u were closer I’d bring u some lmao heading out the door in about a half hr new spot never been to I like that sometimes it keeps the maybe factor going and I don’t get complacent. Then again if it sucks I’ll be back in bow area only lmao. NM bring the toothpicks with u I’m packing them now frozen eyeballs might see deer.

I hunted sunrise to 11:30, as the wind picked up. Only found fox tracks in the snow on the walk in. Was entertained by a nearby woodpecker for some fifteen minutes.
