I've seen 0 on route 8 above waterbury. Very rare. I'm always on the hunt for a fresh non destroyed deer. But this year I haven't seen 1. I was thinking about this just the other day

I've noticed extremely few on 84 between Middlebury and Danbury.

Saw very few on the parkway this year from Fairfield to Greenwich everyday. However, I did see a real nice buck (10 pt) I think, last week in Stamford northbound side by Highridge on ramp. He was pushed up under middle guard rail head first so I couldn’t get a good look at his head but about 10 yards past him was his broken off right antler laying on the side of the road. Looked like a good one!

Saw the remains of one on 84 near Queen St exit, that's about it.
