Headed home from Alaska where both JW Casto and I were able to get a Sitka Blacktail Deer. This completed our quest to harvest all 5 spieces of deer in North America, with our bows. The weather didn't cooperate as well as we would have liked, but we still managed to get a couple deer.

We mostly spotted the deer from the boat, and then planned our stalk from there. With the lack of snow in the higher elevations, which cause the deer to frequent the beach more, sightings and stalking was limited.

I'll mention one thing now, the boat rides across the bay to our hunting area, we're something I don't care to repeat. More than once JW and I thought that it was nuts just for a deer.
