Hello, I live in SE Wisconsin and like to hunt rabbits. The problem we have here is that it's tough to find them. Years ago, it was not much trouble to see enough to keep busy.
I've been looking through the Iowa DNR small game reports and it shows a good population of rabbits in the SE and SW tier of counties. Can anyone point me in the right direction>> Many thanks,

I know around here in the Northeast part of the state (Volga Lake State Park and Yellow River State Forest), there are quite a few rabbits. Plus, honestly I don't know a farmer around here that wouldn't let you walk through their thickets and stuff for a rabbits. I can't speak to the SE/SW counties.

I bowhunt Jackson County (NE) & see few bunnys at all but plenty of Coyotes (that seems to be the problem)

The rabbits seem to cycle around here from year to year. Some years, there are tons of them, and some years they’re pretty scarce.
