pulled all but one camera out of the woods. Usually I take the batteries out, do you store your trail cameras with out without the batteries?

I pull the batteries for the 4 months (March til July) that they are down.

I pull them all, I take the batteries out and store the used ones separate. They are first batteries I use when I hang cams in the summer.

Just did this the other day!
Pulled all batteries from cameras and bundled them together (8 each) by the camera, wrap in masking tape and label the "% remaining". That way each bundle of used batteries stays together at the same rate of available juice, and come summer they'll last a few weeks when I throw them back in.
Def don't leave them in the camera.... thats asking for leaks and corrosion.

I didn’t know there was an off-season for them. Winter predators, keeping tabs on winter deer activity, spring and summer antler growth.....turkeys, etc. I like to have them out in all seasons.
