I did have a very enjoyable season though, and saw some very nice bucks. Laid my eyes on a definite 170+ in November. The stars just didn’t align for me this year. I’m very particular about which bucks I’ll shoot, and I passed on some deer this year that a lot of people wouldn’t. We have a lot of up and comers with great potential, and most of our hit list bucks survived the season, so I’m very optimistic for next season. The does however, are still very much in danger.
