Just curious if you guys have a dinner get-together like I've seen them posting about in Connecticut. I know you guys do the saddle thing but didn't know if you guys do a get-together.

The guys I hunt with get together each year after the season. I wrote about it on the smoking in your stand thread. It’s a great time. Lot of laughs.

I dont think it's happened in MA before, but perhaps some of the guys that have been here even longer than me could chime in on that.
Then again, the saddle thing last year was awesome. There were targets, saddles and good people... But also some awesome food. It's got saddle in the title, but it's really more than that thanks to the way Peter put's it together.

Touch’e master moons on the bow hunting. But I know some girls that can shoot the sweat off a flys ass that’s sitting on a golf ball.
We played golf ball one time. We had a guy drive the ball then we had to try and shoot it once it stopped that was probably the most fun I’ve had with a golf ball.
Speaking of golf balls have you guys ever found them out in the woods? I hunt near a driving range but there is no way someone could drive it that far. Do you think animals will pick that up and carry them or do hunters throw them to move deer? I have found no less then 10 of them in the woods

Matt organized a get together like 3 times a few years ago. He held it at his club. The firat one was a pot luck and had a half decent turn out but the last couple it was just a few of us. Good meeting the few however.

Taz - that's right! I totally spaced on that. It was at the Marlborough Sportsman Club for a few years wasnt it? It always coincided with a work event I do so I couldnt go - thus completely spaced it. That always sounded like a good time now that the memories come back.

they were ice fishing up at my lake in NH this past weekend. I hacked a hole through the ice to see how thick and about a foot from shore it was 4-5" I've got a couple tip ups that have never been used, and a hand auger. but ice fishing isn't really my bag.
I'll keep watching the thread.

My .308 on a golfball at 100 all day long. Kinda hard to chat at a rifle range though lol. Could do a huge squirrel/rabbit hunt in surrounding towns and meet up and cook em up! Or a big predator contest and meet up to show em off.

Doesn't sound like many golfers. But if someone did want to do a golf get together. I'm a member at a club that holds a pretty well run event for get together if the golf bowsite members are interested in the summer.
