The Backcountry Wilderness Area archery ranges (normal and 3D) in Highlands Ranch are now offering prorated individual and family season passes from now until May 31. The nine-month-old facility includes a 28-target, 3D range on a 1-mile trail. Head to www.hrcaonline.org/backcountryarchery for details on the prorated season passes and day passes. These two ranges are open all year and are open to the public.

So the prorated half season is 95 but a full season is 155? I get it, you give a guy a break for a full season pass. But January through May is basically winter. Who’s going to pay 100 dollars to fight freezing temperatures, snow, and short daylight hours?

@ucsdryder We've already had a bunch of 50 & 60-degree days! If you haven't come out to the range, it's well-maintained all year long. We're open dawn to dusk, seven days a week. We'd love to see you out there!

Can you buy pro-rated online or only at the rec centers?

All season passes must be purchased at any HRCA recreation center as they need to take your photo.
